Thanksgiving Gone Wrong
Thanksgiving traces its origins to 1621, when English Pilgrims and the Wampanoag people shared a three-day harvest feast in Plymouth, Massachusetts, to celebrate a successful growing season. President Abraham Lincoln proclaimed Thanksgiving a national holiday, setting it on the last Thursday of every November.
Today Thanksgiving is a time for gratitude, family gatherings, and feasting. Yet somehow we managed to make it cannibalistic. Everyone involved in this project will now be attending therapy.
